Hans Bader at CEI has an important, eye-opening, and well-researched piece on six wayward state attorneys general whom he has deemed, "The Nation's Worst." It's surprising that Oklahoma would have such a leftist, or that California's Jerry Brown would be so arbitrary and capricious. I guess he merits the worst of the worst label.
I'd add a comment about NH's former AG--and current senatorial candidate--Kelly Ayotte who did a poor job in having Laconia's Rice lawfirm (all female) represent the state in discussions in the legislature against the Castle Doctrine. It was a weak performance, esp. in contrast to Penny Dean, who supported the Castle Doctrine and gave specific incidents where people were prosecuted for using firearms to defend themselves outside their homes or "curtilage."
