Hey, GOP, in your appeal to Hispanics--an ever growing percentage of the electorate while the white percentage is in near free fall--why not accept a compromise: statehood for Puerto Rico, solidly conservative on cultural issues, while building better fences to finally secure our southern border?
This would presumably allay Hispanic fears that Republicans are engaged in hostile policy.
